Welcome to the Virtual Learning Environment and to the first ‘blog’ posting.
A blog (a contraction of the words ‘web log’) is a website which is usually maintained by an individual (or in our case by the External study team) with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events or other materials such as photos or videos. Entries are usually displayed in reverse-chronological order.
Academics and administrators will be contributing to the External Study blog to alert you to interesting and relevant material and events which will keep you in touch with the University of London and other External students. We are very pleased that so many of you have logged into the VLE already and are now communicating with each other.
